I use an electric knife. This is real easy...can't imagine using just a knife. I do things a little different though. Cut the roll of papertowels in half. Then I take the cardboard out of the center. Place one cut half of papertowels in the container. In a pyrex measuring cup I put 1 1/2 cups water. Add 2-3 tablespoons baby wash, 1-2 tablespoons baby oil. Mix and then pour over the roll. Put lid on container, let towels absorb the liquid. Wipes work great. I have found it ppays to buy a good papertowel. In regards to making baby wipes. I use an electric knife.
