Which Twin is the Father?

This is what I have always wondered about twins. Today we can determine who a killer is by matching DNA. But the crazy thing is identical twins have the same DNA. Cool eh? So would you lock them both up or try to figure out who the evil twin was?
Thanks to Hsien at Eye on DNA for pointing us to a similar incident that came to the forefront but it wasn’t as serious as murder. Who’s your daddy? Which twin is the father of the child? The woman claims she had sex with both twins on the same day. So the custody battle rages on.
This is funny… sorta. The Judge wants to break the child support down 50/50 between the twins. He feels they “both played, so both should pay.”
I guess in a murder case you couldn’t do it that way because there would be strictly one killer and one innocent. Well unless of course they were in on it together and then felt they couldn’t prove who did it if they kept pointing fingers at each other. Actually that would make a cool novel… hmmm
OK I’m back…
But with twins who both had fun on the same day…. well… I guess neither one did anything differently. So I would have to agree with the Judge. You can’t pick and choose on this one… both of them are guilty… make them pay.
What do you think??

Look at ‘em! After all this nonsense, I wouldn’t want either of them for a father. Sheesh.

Well you can’t pick your daddy but you can pick who you sleep with.. eeks! LOL

Don’t know about the daddy stuff, but the murdering twins WAS an episode of Law and Order (SVU, I think) a few years back.

Another uninformed article….I know these men and here’s what I have to say. 1)Court records show they did NOT sleep with her on the same day. Raymon first then Richard 3 WEEKS later. 2) The judge never said he thought they should split the child support, that was some ignorant journalist. 3)They both shouldn’t be punished because some girl thought it would be fun to sleep with twins without each knowing about the other. 4) These are horrible pictures taken first thing on a Christmas morning as soon as they were out of bed. Both men have steady wonderful paying jobs and take good care of themselves. Raymon has been ruled the father (he was the ONLY one that didn’t wear a condom) and ordered to pay child support. Even the woman has said she knows he’s the father. She found out 3 days after she slept with Richard that she was a few weeks pregnant at a doctor’s visit, which would undeniably make the father Raymon. The only reason the story has gone public like this is because RAYMON is trying to get out of paying. Richard is a wonderful man who’s been a victim in this.

Where I come from, this would be appropriately referred to as a big ol’ clusterf*ck – perhaps too appropriately, heh.

You people are rude and have no idea how much your uninformed comments are hurting this family at the expense of your own laugh. Grow up.

AND THEY DID NOT SLEEP WITH HER ON THE SAME DAY!!! Even the court records have that documented.

Sounds to me like the hurting started before the media got involved.
May 23rd, 2007 at 1:31 pm
Yes it did, so why do you people want to add to it? Especially when you don’t truly know the facts?

Oh, calm down Kathryne, it was only a joke. Just to clarify, I make jokes about everyone – my family, friends, people in the news, celebrities, MYSELF – I didn’t single this family out. It’s the way I hope to get through life all in one piece
Actually, I know exactly how it feels to be hurt by uninformed comments. I apologize for not clarifying the joke’s purpose to lighten the mood. If anyone should have known better, it should have been me.
The cold hard fact is, this family (your friends) aren’t the first to be dragged through the media like this, and they won’t be the last. The news will report what it wants to report. And, even though people should pause and remember that there are many sides to a story, not everyone does. They rely on their only source of information, which is the news. Consequently, those who don’t understand this “many sides to one story” theory, believe what the news tells them.
The best advice this family can get – and take – is to focus on themselves during this mess and ignore the news and public opinion. None of that matters.
And, keep in mind – we all have our own little (or huge) skeletons tucked away

Hsien, I would have to agree about the issues were there before the media got to them. Whether the sex was 3 weeks apart or not doesn’t change the fact that this women slept with both of them in the same month.

You could spin the paternity the same way as the murder
so that only one twin was “guilty” of sleeping with the
woman. (She knows what he looked like, but not which
twin it was.) So, you can’t make the innocent guy
pay child support, right? Which one knocked her up?

Hello,
My name is Amelia Wasserman and I work on a television program on the A&E network that looks into strange but true occurrences. I’d like to get in touch with Richard Miller, one of the identical twins that was caught up in a paternity battle with Holly Marie Adams. I’d very interested in interviewing Mr. Miller for our show. If anyone could help me out please email me at awasserman@cineflix.com. Thanks so much!
Amelia
