About me

I was born and raised in Maine and have enjoyed the vast outdoors as well as hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. I plan to stay in Maine, retire in Maine, and die in Maine. I graduated from High School in 1993 and spent the following year working and saving up money to attend college at Keene State, in New Hampshire, where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Management. I had a strong concentration in Psychology and ended up back in Maine working and playing in Bar Harbor, ME. From there I made my way to Old Town, ME and met my future wife who was attending the University of Maine at Orono.

In June of 1999 we married and moved to Columbus, OH where she attended the Ohio State University, and so we immediately became Buckeyes. I worked off and on for Walmart Corporation and FedEx Ground. In March of 2000 we had our first child and I began to work in the evenings and watch our new child during the days. It wasn’t until we moved back to Bangor, ME that I became a full time Stay at Home Father. By then our 3rd child was born and it has been only an adventure since that time.

In the last 3 years I have developed an online business presence in the field of outdoor sports and recreation. I have co-authored, published, and marketed my own book called The Legend of Grey Ghost and Other Tales From the Maine Woods… I recommend this book for anybody interested in the sport of hunting, the appreciation of the vastness of the Maine wilderness, or anybody who has a special interest in Maine people and history.

I have been a Stay at Home Dad of 4 children for 3 years.
